Significant changes to policy regarding the
management and reporting of air emissions have emerged, and

In their "Climate Change Strategy and Regulatory Program
Update" presentation (Nov. 2009), the Government of Alberta
stated that "poor data management systems" were a

issues that have caused a lack of confidence in reported
number, or lead to material errors in numbers."
